What does a super mega wealthy powerful author do when she needs to change it up a bit?  Choose a male pseudonym and write a book, of course.  Recently, it has been revealed that J.K. Rowling is in fact Robert Galbraith, writing “The Cuckoo’s Calling”.  The mystery novel was released on April 30th and quickly suspicions started.  After it was determined that the editor, publisher, and agent all worked with Rowling, the speculation hit over drive.  J.K. Rowling released the following statement: “I hoped to keep this secret a little longer, because being Robert Galbraith has been such a liberating experience! It has been wonderful to publish without hype or expectation and pure pleasure to get feedback from publishers and readers under a different name. . . . And to those who have asked for a sequel, Robert fully intends to keep writing the series, although he will probably continue to turn down personal appearances.”

I plan on picking up the book because I love her style of writing.  Do you?
