Random Act of Kindness
We purchase our meat in bulk. Every month we make the twenty minute drive into Tampa to go to a small little meat market that sells their meat in bulk. We purchase practically the same thing each month. It has gotten to the point that when we walk in, they know us. They tell us how their lives have been and we share as well. It’s a nice place. Now, the side effect of this is of course the transportation of large quantities of frozen meat. You know 20 lbs of chicken, 10 lbs of ground beef, etc. It gets heavy. Now this location happens to have a set of stairs that are steep and so carrying these items from the dock to the car can become rather treacherous. Today, I was the proud recipient of a random act of kindness. As I am getting ready to start loading up the car, a guy on a bike happened to be coming through the parking lot. Not only did he get off his bike but he proceeded to load every last box into my car. Pound after pound of my family’s dinners were loaded into the car by this unknown stranger. So, I know he’ll probably never read this but thank you random bike guy for all of your help today, it was very appreciated!
